Is Dynamics GP being retired?
Microsoft has announced the end of the Dynamics GP product lifecycle, with security updates scheduled to end in the coming years. Microsoft recommends moving to Dynamics 365 Business Central. We can share the current published dates for your planning.
Should we move from GP to Business Central or Finance & Supply Chain?
Most GP customers fit Business Central. Organizations with many legal entities, complex manufacturing or large distribution operations may be better suited to Finance & Supply Chain. We help you decide.
Can GP history be brought into Dynamics 365?
Yes. Microsoft’s migration tools move master data, open transactions and summary history to Business Central, and detailed history can be retained in a reporting data store if needed.
